EASTON — Local singer Hannah Gill, only 16 years old, will perform two shows Thursday, March 6, in the Avalon Theatre’s Stoltz Listening Room. Show times are 7 and 8:30 p.m.
Hannah recently packed the house at her first New York show in the Café Vivaldi.
“We only have a handful of tickets left for both shows,” said Suzy Moore, house manager at the Avalon. “So act now if you want to experience this amazing local talent.”
An active participant in local high school musicals and talent shows, Hannah has been singing from an early age.
“My parents exposed me to a lot of music,” she said. “I love folk music and plenty of ragtime, jazz (especially Ella Fitzgerald), as well as a bunch of acoustic music — the Avett Brothers, artists like that. Real artists.”
According to TimeSquare.com, “Hannah Gill is a truly amazing 16-year-old. The young singer-songwriter has only been involved in the entertainment biz for half a year, but she’s already headlining shows and attracting crowds.”
Tickets for each show are $10, and available at the Avalon box office (410-822-7299) and online at www.avalonthe atre.com.
